The Goon!
I don't know if any of you have check this out, but the Goon is a fantastic comic. It is put out by Dark Horse, and is kind of an odd mix of Lovecraftian/Will Eisner/George Romero. I'm not sure if it is a horror or a 'funny' book, but at times it is both. It is excellently drawn, has a cool retro/pulp look to it, and just an absolute blast to read. http://www.thegoon.com/ There is already 4 trade paper back editions out to help you get up to speed.

The Goon is yet another of the great horrorish comics being produced in this heyday of the genre. It is a really fun read that you can enjoy without having to spend a fortune.

I just wish someone would produce a Goon figure!

I thought about a cool Goon figure.... This would be a good basis for one, if you have any conversion ability... Not quite perfect, but a good start....Thats Reaper's Clay Golem 2706. I used him as a basis for the Incredible Hulk once...

Great book! Powell is very funny stuff and the art work is fantastic. The only down side to the Goon is the release of the book is so sporadic that I just wait for TPB now. I haven't seen a Goon book in a while now. There was talk of a movie in the neat future but I haven't heard anything of that of late too. Brian
