Sex in games
I was an old school Splatter Punk in the 80s and love the whole genera of sexy chicks fighting off demented madmen with axes or power tools. I recently played a game that was basically the movie "Driller Killer", you know the slumber party turned bad when a nut comes calling with an enormous power drill, with a bunch of guys the other night. It seems over the years I have collected several nude or scantily clad ladies and decided to use them in a game for once and thought this would be the perfect game for it. I had a blast gaming it but it seemed that a couple guys were uncomfortable about the nudity, sexuality and violence. It's Driller Killer what did they expect? Anyway, would you, as an adult play such a game? Note that everyone in attendance where adults and no kids were allowed. There were sexual situations depicted as to draw the characters to certain parts of the house away from others so they would make easier targets but not played out in any detail other then, Amy and Gina are making out and decide to go to the bedroom... Is sex to taboo to wargame with or were the guys who felt weird just to uptight? I'd like to know from fellow horror fans what you think because boobs are just as common in the horror genera as blood. I have planed a similar game at a upcoming con that is continuous gaming for 3 days and I would host this game at midnight and be sure to warn anyone who wishes to play it of the R rated nature of it. There will be naked minis, sexual content and lots of unnecessary blood and gore played out during the game. So is it to much or ok for the genera of play with only adults present? What say you?
