Rotten Wood: Horror Rules Mini-Game
I've recently picked up " Rotten Wood" Horror rules mini-game by Crucifiction Games. It's a really nice little minis game and is completely compatable with their " Horror Rules RPG". The basic game is pretty good to get you used to the game mechanics BUT the Skirmish rules are really cool. This is the first in a series of games and deals with a zombie infestation , the characters fighting to survive against zombie hoards. The rules contain all you need to get going including card paper minis, maps, counters etc. All you need is a 10 sided dice. The maps included are ideal for the basic game but i prefer to use my own wargames table for the skirmish. The beauty of it is that it is fully compatible with the RPG ( the combat has been simplified) and doesn't take itself too seriously! The mini-game costs $5.00 at RPG.now as a .pdf.
