Paved Road Suggestions Hi Guys
I'm going to do a Route 66 game, so I will need a long piece of material for the highway. What do you guys suggest to make a paved road? I had though of looking a strip of black vinal and painting it. But any other ideas are welcome.

Ahah...lol. Roofing felt, thats what you want the type that comes in rolls that you put on a flat roof or shed. Pick a fine grade and it can be cut into strips.
Its fairly cheap here in the UK so would think it would be in the US too
for Pics of it see Occult Wars pictures on TMP they used it and it looks great

I suppose the easiest way is to go to the fabric shop and look for something that resembles it.
Use masking tape to tape up the cloth, leaving thin lines, then use yellow and white spray paints to draw the lines in.
use that as the base.
Figure out your favourite way of making the sandy/grassy sides, make them, and place them over the cloth, leaving a gap for the road.
if you can find some power line / telephone poles from a railroad supplies shop, it will be very cool!
While there, search for some buildings too, roadside diners, petrol station, whatever.
