auton- 10-23-2006

very inspiring, makes me want to buy more of them though.... :?

Pappa Midnight- 10-23-2006

LTD: They say great minds.....? I did exactly the same , bought all of them except the Brits, and for the same reason. I just wish they would produce some more! FG: "Lovely"! Only on a horror site would someone call a Zombie lovely! Thanks for the comment about the blood. These are a little more restrained that previous ones. Auton: Go on you know you want some...... PM

I already have two unpainted packs plus the rage zombies from West Wind to do <sigh>

Pappa Midnight- 10-29-2006

A few more Zeds ready to rumble! First up a couple of conversions: The female is a horrorclix zombie with a set of legs from a copplestone biker ( to bring her down to 28mm) The male is a HorrorClix Zombie Lawyer. I have shortened his arms and legs to bring him down to 28mm. I also re-positioned the head. The next two are a couple of ColdWar zombies.........Ex SWAT team members! They'll need some matt varnish to take the shine off them. PM

<jaw drops> amazing work as ever!

Lowtardog- 10-29-2006

Fantastic stuff PM :)

Lowtardog- 10-29-2006

We will have to arrange a get together with all who can make it on the forum for a massive zombie fest some time on 2007

fatgoblin- 10-29-2006

beautiful stuff! Top marks for the clix conversions. The shortening of the man is great but the work on the lady is very very impressive! I thought the orginal was really poor and you totally fixed it! nice!

Pappa Midnight- 10-30-2006

Thanks for the comments guys! I had the horrorClix kicking around but they really are too big to use without converting them. I suppose the female cost me two figures to produce one zombie but the upper half of the copplestone mini will come in handy for something... I throw nothing away!

fatgoblin- 10-30-2006

Stick it on top of the Dead Reconing!

Malamute- 10-31-2006

Pappa - Just how many Zombie figs do you have painted up? It looks to be an amazing collection :D I agree with the idea of a 2007 get together :)

Pappa Midnight- 10-31-2006

Thanks Malamute, I've got 70+ Modern Zombies painted ( more than enough to game with but I LOVE painting them!) My aim is to hit 100 zombies with no two figures the same! I've got LOADS ( a few hundred) of other painted/half painted stuff besides undead although I have thinned them out a bit ( sold, given away etc.) to make room for other projects. At one point I had about 4000 points of Warhammer Undead painted ( anyone who knows the points system will be aware of how many zombies and skeletons this equates to!). I off loaded them to MR EBAY to make some room! PM

fatgoblin- 10-31-2006

sweet! I only have 64 zombies painted at last count so you beat me! I was also aiming for 100. I've got another 27 unpainted ones waiting for love so I need to buy a few more to put me over! :)

Pappa Midnight- 12-17-2006

I've had a major break from painting/converting horror minis due to a 1:48 Stage Coach Diarama I've been doing for a friend ( .......Never Again!!!!). Any how i've just done a somple conversion ( just a hand swap) of a copplestone mini. He looks very "70's" and goes well with my "70's" chick zombie. The camera hasn't picked the blood out too well against his brown suit, but you get the idea! PM
