Thanks FG! :D
Glad you like them Dave! These had been sitting around for ages before I decided to paint them. I got a little side-tracked with Old West stuff and Dinosaurs. I try to paint at least one thing a week. I've got enough unpainted lead to keep me going for a good few years!!!!
If you've got any painted stuff post it, I'm always keen to look at other people's work.

Hey PM. Got any tips for taking pics of minis?
I gave it a shot last night and i just couldn't capture enough detail. I think it's the camera.

Hi dave,
I use a 4 mega pixel digital camera with a Macro zoom and a flash.
I find lighting is the main thing. I tend to use a flash as light from a "Normal" light source tends to look yellow ( daylight is always best!).
The other major thing is a steady camera base, like a tripod, to stop any motion blur.
If you are using a blank background I tend to steer clear of white. This has a habit of messing up the camera's auto settings when you are using a flash and can result in a dark image. I tend to use pale blue or green for back drops.
Finally I find that if you "Shrink" a picture down for putting on the web , the reduction in size sometimes causes blurring. I sharpen the image using a photo suite programme.
I'm sure there are people with far more experience than me but these are just some of my observations.
Hope that's of some help.

Just finished some more Alpha Forge Zombies.
These have some nasty looking mutations so I'm going to use them as workers in a chemical store!
