Historicon Route 66 Game (when the firefight goes bad)
My Friend just sent me some photos of the Route 66 "All Things Zombie" game from Historicon. OK this is the high point of the game, early in the Skins turn, the Skins team is rushing up, to gun down a portion of the Hairs team (in the gas station, Hair team leader Cleopatra is OOF at this point, and Logan has an empty shotgun note the 2 black beads by the figure, Farrah is looking the wrong way and can't fight), to get to the Zombie that was carrying the Briefcase that is the game's objective (Neo-Morpheus has killed it, and you can see the severed arm and Briefcase laying in the road below). Skins Denton and Grant are out of sight behind the trailer, they will move up later in the turn trying to get to Briefcase, and will be engaged in a firefight with the Red Necks at bottom of the picture. Note, Neo-Morpheus has been ducked back behind the trailer, by Cletus with the M-16 behind the white sports car. Later in the turn, Cletus would end up wounding Denton as he made a run for the Briefcase, and would be killed in turn by Denton.
In the picture below you see the status at the end of the turn, the Zombie with the briefcase is dead, Denton is wounded on top of the briefcase (shot be a Cletus), Neo-Morpheus is ducked back behind the bed of the trailer. The Hairs lay dead and OOF by the gas pumps, and the rest of the Hairs team; Elvis, Fabio and Oliver are in a life and death struggle by the van in the background. The figure that is up in the left hand corner is a Skin team member Grant covering the Hairs in the van. At the end of the turn we counted up all the shots fire, just around the 2 Skins leader where 22 Zombie Checks!
Welll that would make an additional 18 Zombies in just the photos we got, not counting the ones generated out of frame by the Red Necks:

Needless to say the "Running and Screaming" soon followed. :twisted:
