Hello from the Republic of Texas!
Just found the forum and can't wait to dive right in. With Pappa and his never ending energy to paint and build I am sure to wonder in jealous disbelief. We play a modified version of the Battleground WWII system which we use for just about all our wargaming. We play mostly Weird War II as most of our minis and terrain is of that time-period. Our games are more Horror then Fantastical WWII with tons of zombies in every game. We have a ongoing house rule that anyone who dies in our games return as a zombie no matter what. That time varies but they return and these aren't the slow guys these are the Return of the Living Dead running mothers! Most of our supernatural host is uncontrollable and have their own modivations so it gets interesting quick. Hope to see some great stuff and meet some fellow GORE HOUNDS and SPLATTER PUNKS. Brian

Well, I see this is the Texas intro thread so I'll just say "howdy" here. Turns out I'm not too far from where Brian lives either. Anyway, I like the horror genre but never tried it playing miniatures. While I've been reading up on various rules and stuff I found this thread. :) My favorite is zombies and I have a large batch on the way from Zombiesmith. I hope I get them in the mail today! :D I look forward to reading up some good info in this group. Rodney
