Seriously, Awesome work FG!!!
I really love your use of natural colours and the detailing ( faces and dress) is superb!
The best work I've seen for a long time.

A great paint job I hadn`t realised that the "queen" figure had been released yet

Hey FG
What color scheme do you use on the zombies on either side of the top row of cold war miniatures in your zombie showcase page?
The bum and the man in the suit... it looks very realistic zombie to me.
Thanks for any advice.
I know that's off topic.. but I have been wondering..

scratches head.... its so far back I don't know exactly!
but most of the zombies are painted the same way. By starting with a dark and dull blue or green, then layering in flesh tones mixed with the dark blue/green or sometimes red.
I use a flesh tone that is a bit yellowish so that helps in the mix as well (vallejo model colours medium skin tone, flat and sunny)
I think a few from that time I actually mixed a bit of light blue into the higher highlights as well, which mingled with the yellowish skin tone to produce a slight greenish tinge.
Hope it helps.... sorry I can't be more specific!

I am not worthy, you really have a great touch with those figures!

The ones I was specifically mentioned had a waxy yellowish look that I liked... all my zombies are camo green dry brushed with rotted flesh.

You could try using Vallejo's Tan Glaze. It a yellowish transparent-ish gummy paint. I use it sometimes to tint small areas a bit yellowish.

The older woman with the shotgun (a fantastic figure) isn't even on the Hassle free site! What is the name of the fig, and has the Zombized Suzi come out yet?

I got a preview casting in my last order. It should be out sometime soon. I think it will be called queenie. I'm also waiting for the zombie suzi! Not too sure about dates, but shouldn't be long now...

Great, you lucky bastard, but then again your a great painter and your making us buy their figures with dreams of painting as well as you!
OK now I'm going to pick nits on your Queene figure, the shotgun shell should be colored. they are plastic cased, so it will add a dash of color to the figure.
