ERM East Riding Miniatures - Corporate World Hi All,
Just got my order of minis from East Riding Miniatures ( UK ).
I've got to say "WOW!"
I ordered the entire Assassin and "Slick" range of Corporate World at a staggering £1.00 each!
They are definitely "Heroic Scale" but are comparable to West Wind Road Kill figures for size (30mm). They are vitually flash-free and need minimal cleaning. All they need are some bases. Although not strictly Horror Minis they would make ideal Vampire Hunters , Vampires or Corporate types and for £1.00 a piece you can't go wrong! ( postage 10% order in UK )
I ordered over the Weekend and was really suprised when I received them this morning.
Tony from ERM is a really nice guy ( even when Paypal didn't want to play ball) and has definitely got my vote.
Go on check them out for yourselves.

I got them in my radar for sometime now... I wish Jim Bowen would do more stuff in this scale.

I have so many colour shemes lined up for the slicks!!!
I received the whole set on a Tuesday and had them painted by the Saturday, they're excellent figures.
The trouble is that I don't know why they're excellent figures
The anatomy is not great, the detail is minimal they don't seem great figures. But when you paint them they're just a joy to do. Solid, clean, usable poses, just brilliant.
Except the woman at the end of the list, I binned her.
Everyone should own a set of these figures, really, everyone. I'm going to buy a set for my wife!

for me the minimal detail is what makes them great. They are nice simple sculpts but still very thematic and stylish. Kinda like the Batman animated series I suppose!

I'm going to have a crack at painting some this weekend.
I agree FG about the minimal detailing ( leaves room for artistic impression!) but I think the female assassins are on par with Road Kill's Sisterhood miniatures but in much better poses.
I also agree with Matakishi: They are pretty basic detail wise and the last one in the list ( female enforcer I think) is a little bit of a let down . I won't be using her either. They are however very cool minis and well worth the money.
I do like the idea of buying some for the wife! I'll try that next time I want to make a large purchase ( sorry darling I thought you'd like them....)
