Deadlands the Great Rail wars
I suppose a bit off topic but the guys fancied a game of wild west, now we have played LOTOld west . Though I like it it only allows 2 players and the writing up of stats can be a pain and explaining the rules too. So dug out my old Deadlands rail wars rules which we used to play alot a few years back. to cut to the chase anyone still play this, I used to play historical with it but now leaning to a Horro game I may surprise them by putting a Werewolf into the scenario etc :twisted:

LTD, I quite like RailWars ( haven't played it for a while) as a stand alone game. It's simple to learn and the system is quite flexible. I've got Savage Worlds ( which RailWars came from) , SW Modern and Rippers ( Victorian Horror) all of which are interchangable. I think it's a bit of an underated system. Have you looked at Savage Showdown? It's a free skirmish game by Great White Games? Regards PM
