World War Z Stroudsburg was burning a long time before the battle at Yonkers. The Bulgarian refugees had started pouring in way before the great panic and it was them that brought the walking death with them. The first time we heard the low moan of the day was from downstairs, I knew what it was at once, and gather Spooky and myself and grabbed what weapons I could find. An old Gladius and a falchion, the Gladius I gave to Paula, this she could use just like a baseball bat. The Falchion was made By Master Turlock the Profane, and was a fantastic weapon so this was mine. We gathered supplies into backpacks and started to our car, I didn’t think we would get far, but I knew we needed to get out of town… The Bulgarian Zeds could not get out of their apartment, dragging their bloated bodies across the hard wood floors; they now smelled worse then their cooking. Black puss pouring underneath the door, Spooky starts to gag as we creep by. They can hear us moving down the hallway, smashing and banging at the door, moaning for the flesh that they would never have... We make it to the street, and see that the gray walking death is waiting for their next meal, us. We go back into the apartment, seal the doors and run up stairs, I push heavy furniture down the stairs, blocking and sealing the doorway. We make or way to the back door and see no one waiting at the back steeps. It’s a long drop to the back yard, and the steps go up a story. I use a large hammer to knock out most of the stairs to keep the zeds from getting up to us… we are VERY trapped.
