About time I painted some ZOMBIES!!! ....(for a change)
It's been a while since I painted any modern Zombies ( damned VSF.... Weird War.....etc) and I've had the Zombies from Griffin sat on my work bench staring at me for ages. I watched Diary of the Dead the other day and it got me motivated to get some done. I decided to steer away from traditional green ( I'm a huge "Original" Dawn of the Dead fan) and go all-out rotten and bloody. Hope you like them! :D

Have been trying to sort what i really want to follow,i know i posted about the modern ideas,then i saw some 6mm marines i wanted,then a couple of kits,then a 360 game (ace combat6) then another 360 game,then some 15mm modern americans.Another couple of tank kits,then some cleaning down of second hand figures HELP HELP!!!! Then got some italeri soft plastics STOP ME HELP I CAN NOT STOP!!!! all this work and gaming help please!!! LTD: Zedding ACW figures............... a man after my own heart!!!! :lol: I would love to see the results. Yorkshire_man: Hah...far too many projects on the go... You would never catch me doing that... I'll just stick with Modern Horror, Victorian Sci-fi, WW2, Weird War 2, Old West ( Historical and Weird), Dinosaurs, Pulp, Science-fiction, Pirates, Musketeers, Dr Who, 70's Cops, Modern Skirmish, Mordheim................. :lol: Regards AL

How do you paint that flesh? Any tutorials or tips!? On these particular ones I strayed away from traditional green for a more realistic look ( If zombies can be realistic...?) I painted them in straight flesh colours and used purple and green washes to get that rotten look. I then highlighted them with pale flesh/ rotten green to give the flesh that unhealthy colour. For "wounds" I paint the wounded area in pink and use a red wash. I then add blood by using GW Dark Flesh. It's a very dark rusty brown which looks far more effective as blood than red.
